File Append and Split Tool 1.0.0
Split and append files of all types and sizes Split and append files of all types and sizes... up to 16 million terabytes. Splits large files so they can be copied onto CDs, DVDs, etc. or sent via email. Choose output file size, media type, or number of pieces. Appends pieces back together to perfectly recreate the original file. Also creates a batch file so that the recipient does not need F.A.S.T. to reassemble the parts. A simple concept executed to perfection.

i tried appending 3 *.mov files together and it didn't work so I gave up (perhaps too quickly but time is short).

very good tool. i have problem to append some avi files and cannot do that with other tools. F.A.S.T. work very good. thanks

Comment It works so well and easy to use. Only one thing didn't like it was after the file go split, the file name created as bigfile.txt.12. I wish it get crested as bigfile.12.txt

Clean and Fast Thank you for a simple program that does just what I needed. I used a camcorder that had a hard drive and each time I stopped the unit to move to a new location it started a new file. With this simple program I was able to sew them together and make one movie. Thanks again.

Experience with Gsplits 2.1 ON my Win Vista I noticed the follwoing issues: 1. When selecting different destination drives, the capacity information does not update, additionally the REFRESH button has no effect. 2. The pre-defined size for a DVD+-R is too large. 3. I couldn't successfully split a 11Gb file directly onto multiple DVDs, although I could split it into the same folder. 4. I noticed several bug reports on re-uniting the split files, bt as yet haven't gotten time to test that on my splits.

Straight Binary Appends only Can do the same with DOS COPY command...
